I grew up in steel; it was what my family talked about over dinner, what weekends were spent studying on, and what I understood long before I knew what I wanted to do.

From a young age, I saw both sides of the business: the strong relationships that held it together, and the uncertainty that often left clients waiting for answers.

That’s why I started Aussie Steel Direct, to build on what came before, not replace it.

We still believe in relationships first. But we also believe that transparency and efficiency belong in the same conversation.

Our model connects clients directly to mills, locks in pricing for stability, and makes every shipment visible from start to finish.

The idea is simple: keep the values that built this industry - honesty, reliability, and trust and pair them with systems that make it work better for everyone.

It’s a small step toward modernising how Australia buys steel, without losing the values that built it.
